We are lucky enough to be located on the Ile-de-Ré, right next to one of the most beautiful villages in France, so make sure you visit the top sites in both places. You will enjoy the beautiful authenticity and discover our amazing nature. The animals and plants on the Ile-de-Ré are unique. All you have to do is discover their beauty.

Ars-en-Ré, little village on the island

Ars-en-Ré was made by both man and nature. Ars was once an island right next to the Ile-de-Ré and Loix island. But over time, the archipelago formed one island, and Ars-en-Ré became a village on the Ile-de-Ré. You can enjoy our small commercial port, which was a key point in transporting salt to the continent for many years. Today, tourists enjoy discovering its beauty.

Make sure you go see the beautiful bell tower that overlooks the village and stroll down the little streets. Check out the daily market where local products are sold.

The Cabane du Fier is the town bar, an icon not to be missed.

The beautiful Ile-de-Ré

There is of course much more to see and do on the Ile-de-Ré than just Ars-en Ré. There are beaches all around the island, the Baleines lighthouse that overlooks the ocean, and fishing off the rocks at sunset.
